About

Long before I became a photographer, I was on stage – an actor, a circus performer and a contemporary dancer. That life as a performing artist eventually took me in a different direction: for over 15 years, I have been a self-taught photographer. There is no doubt that this professional journey has shaped my perspective and influences the way I see the world.

This new path has led me to exhibit in Paris, across France and in Morocco, to publish a book, *La Sardine et l’Arganier*, and then to create my own photography festival, Off Essaouira. Now based between France and Morocco, in Essaouira, I am represented by the Hans Lucas agency.

Over the years, my work has broadened whilst becoming more specialised: I have photographed hundreds of hotels around the world, whilst at the same time pursuing documentary and humanitarian work, driven by the same focus on people, on the intimate, on the minute as well as the immense and the universal.
