Before I ever held a camera, I was on stage — actor, circus performer, contemporary dancer. That life eventually carried over into something else: for several years now, I've been a self-taught photographer, and that background still shapes the way I see things.
That way of looking has taken me to exhibitions in Paris, across France and in Morocco, to publishing a book — La Sardine et l'Arganier — and eventually to founding my own photography festival, Off Essaouira. Now based between France and Morocco, in Essaouira, I'm a member of the Hans Lucas agency.
Over the years, that work has broadened: I've photographed hundreds of hotels around the world, while continuing documentary and humanitarian projects alongside it — driven by the same attention to people, to the intimate and the immense.
